LockBit Claims Hack On French Hospital

LockBit has claimed responsibility for the hack against French Center Hospital Sud Francilien (CHSF) on August 21st, 2022, resulting in patient care being diverted to other facilities, and delaying surgical appointments. An update to the hospital operations on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2022, has reported the hospital is operating without the aid of IT services, and only phone systems operable. The disruption has resulted in longer wait times, limited services and the hospital discouraging walk-in visits. LockBit has demanded a ransom of $10 million for the attack.
